From one fascinator to a world of millinery.

Jana Katrina Millinery was born from an unexpected beginning.

Originally from Germany and now based in London, I first discovered millinery when I found myself invited to a series of weddings in the UK. Wanting to create something of my own to wear, I decided to make a fascinator.

It wasn't perfect.

But something about the process stayed with me.

I became fascinated by the transformation of simple materials into something sculptural, expressive and entirely personal. What began as one fascinator quickly became a new creative direction.

I spent months learning, experimenting and refining my techniques — studying online, reading, practising and, most importantly, making. Again and again.

With every piece, I became more curious about the possibilities of shape, colour, texture and movement.

And Jana Katrina Millinery grew from there.

Today, I create handcrafted hats and headpieces for women who want their millinery to feel as individual as they are.

My designs combine traditional millinery techniques with a contemporary sense of colour, proportion and style.

I am drawn to pieces that have presence - a large brim, an unexpected colour combination, a sculptural flourish, a beautiful feather or a detail that catches the light as you move.

For me, millinery is not simply an accessory.

It is part of the occasion.

It can transform an outfit, change the way you carry yourself and become one of the most memorable details of the day.

From shaping and blocking the materials to creating the final details, each piece is made with patience and intention.
